    GENTLE REMINDER - ON SECURITY MEASURES, REGISTRATION AND PROCEDURES FOR COUNTRY STATEMENTS

    ** Important information: arrival of His Holiness Pope Francis **

    There will be no access to FAO premises on the morning of 14 February between 8.30 a.m. and approximately 11 a.m. due to strict security measures being implemented for the visit of His Holiness Pope Francis.

    Registration

    Delegations to the forty-second session of the IFAD Governing Council are requested to register in advance for the meeting and encouraged to collect their badges in advance.

    Registration will take place at the Security Pavilion located at the main entrance to FAO, on Viale Aventino next to the metro station, at the following times: 

    • Tuesday, 12 February: 10.00-17.00 
    • Wednesday, 13 February: 10.00-17.00 
    • Thursday, 14 February: 08.00-8.30 and from approximately 11.00-18.30 
    • Friday, 15 February: 08.00-closure of the session

    Country statements

    Member States wishing to submit a written or video-recorded statement are requested to notify the Secretary of IFAD via the Country Statements Desk (countrystatements@ifad.org) of their intention to do so by close of business (Rome time) Friday, 8 February 2019 at the latest.
