124th session of the Executive Board
Distinguished Board representatives,
Please be informed that, in consultation with the President and with a view to accommodating one advisor per Board representative in the conference room during deliberations, the forthcoming session of the Executive Board will be held in the Italian Conference Room and not in the Oval Room as originally communicated. Furthermore, given the number of agenda items to be considered at the session, we have revised the timing of the meetings to ensure sufficient time for interaction and dialogue. The timing, which is reflected in the revised schedule of work that has been posted on the Member States Interactive Platform, is as follows:
Tuesday, 11 September 2018: 2 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday, 12 and 13 September 2018:
Morning meeting: 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Afternoon meeting: 2:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Given the late conclusion of the meeting of the first day, no reception will be held. However, light buffet lunches will be available for delegates in the Executive Dining Room on Wednesday and Thursday, in order to promote continued informal discussions and ensure timely reconvening of afternoon meetings.Please find the original communication here: Arabic, English, French, Spanish
