SAVE THE DATE: AgTalks eighth session
The eighth session of the "AgTalks" series will be held at IFAD headquarters, Via Paolo di Dono 44, Rome, on Tuesday, 29 November 2016. The session will take place in the Italian Conference Room from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm. A welcome coffee will be served at 9.30 am.
What is AgTalks?
AgTalks presents the latest thinking, trends and research on policies and innovation in small-scale farming.
What is the theme of this session?
This session entitled "Whassup with Agriculture – Young innovators tell their stories" on the important role of the youth in promoting and participating in agriculture through their creativity and innovation.
At this session, the panel of youth speakers will share their experiences in agricultural innovation and what is needed to increase the interest and participation of the young generation in agriculture.
Join us at IFAD on Tuesday, 29 November 2016 to take part in this interactive session.

Distinguished Governors,
In accordance with the document Established good practice for the process leading to the appointment of the President of IFAD (GC 36/L.5), and in agreement with the Governing Council Bureau and the List Convenors, please be informed that the membership meeting with IFAD presidential candidates is planned to take place on Thursday, 19 and Friday, 20 January 2017 at IFAD headquarters in Via Paolo Di Dono 44, Rome, Italy.
If necessary, the dates will be adjusted depending on the number of candidates.
Further details will be provided in due course.
