Today, a joint letter from China, Ethiopia, the Netherlands and Sweden in support of a successful outcome for the Eleventh Replenishment of IFAD's Resources has been posted for the information of all IFAD Member States.

The letter has been jointly signed by His Excellency Dr Eyasu Abrha, Minister for Agriculture and Natural Resources of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Her Excellency Sigrid Kaag, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Her Excellency Ulrika Modéer, State Secretary to the Minister for International Development Cooperation of Sweden, and by His Excellency Shi Yaobin, Vice Minister of Finance, Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China.

Please find a letter and the note from the External Chair of the IFAD11 Replenishment Consultation. 

The note, "What I would tell my Minister"  has been drafted in response to the request made on various occasions by some of the members of the Consultation on IFAD11. It includes arguments that could help in providing support to a strong IFAD11 replenishment.
