Eighth Biannual Permanent Representatives Meeting
MARK YOUR CALENDARS
The Eighth Biannual Permanent Representatives Meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, 9 April 2015 from 10.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. at IFAD headquarters, Via Paolo di Dono, 44. Delegates attending the Eighth Biannual Permanent Meeting in Rome may be dropped off in front of the headquarters’ main entrance. A limited number of parking spaces will be reserved for delegates in Via Paolo di Dono, 44, in addition to parking spaces in Via Paolo di Dono, 90, the external parking lot at the rear of the building, on a first-come first-served basis; a security guard will be available for assistance throughout the meeting.
Interpretation will be provided at the meeting.

REMINDER - EVENT TOMORROW
IFAD will host the International Women's Day 2015 celebration on behalf of the Rome-based agencies – the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Food Programme (WFP). It is our pleasure to invite you to the forthcoming event which will be held at IFAD headquarters on Friday, 6 March 2015, from 10 to 11.30 a.m.
This year's theme is: “Empowering women, Empowering Humanity: Picture it!” and the Rome-based agencies will join the global celebration dedicated to Beijing+20 by placing the focus on efforts to “Empower rural women to achieve food and nutrition security”. The celebration will be followed by a reception and a Gender Share Fair which will showcase innovative experiences that have empowered rural women. The event will be conducted in English.
