  • Distinguished Executive Board Representatives,

    We are pleased to inform you that the Project Procurement Guidelines (EB 2019/128/R.40) approved in December 2019, are now available on IFAD’s Member States Interactive Platform and on IFAD’s public website. Your attention is kindly drawn to a slight modification to paragraph 20, as follows – additional text is underlined:

    “Competition for the procurement of goods, works and services is normally sought through  a competitive bidding process, which should be conducted through an agreed5 procurement method involving at least three separate6 suppliers or contractors,  if this is not attainable a justification should be provided and approved by IFAD”.
